“May Lord Ganesha keep enlightening our lives and always bless us"

It is a 10-day festival that commemorates the arrival of Lord Ganesha – the harbinger of new beginnings and the remover of all evils. Gaṇesha Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi and is one of the most significant festivals in a few sections of India, for example, Maharashtra. The climate is loaded with satisfaction, fun, laughter, music, and many more.

Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu festival celebrating the home coming of Lord Ganesh and this started publicly by Shri Bal Gangadhar Tilak popularly known as Lokmanya Tilak in the year 1893 in Mumbai and Pune. The purpose behind this was to unite all Indian people to fight against British rulers. In our organization we started celebrating this festival from this year only

Ganpati Sthapana

We as employees and associates of EMPL (Eximp Measurement Private Limited) were eager to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi hence we facilitated Ganesh Chaturthi in Eximp Measurement Pune office with great fervour and fidelity. Since all employees expressed their passion and devotion for Lord Ganesha we for the 1st time celebrated this festival in our office premises for five days. All our employees moved toward becoming lit up with wonderful adornments of bright lights amid the times of the celebration.

Pranpratishtha

Pranpratishtha is a ritual which was initiated by setting the idol in its Aras and was initiated by Mr. Unni Narayanan led the ritual by starting with shodashopchar puja, which is a reverential custom performed with 16 different sorts of pujas for Lord Ganesh’s arrival. In order to complete the ritual, we offered coconut, jiggery, natural products, red hibiscus blossoms, 21 durvas, 21 modaks, etc and the prasad was arranged by each of our colleagues to honour the Lord Ganesha’s arrival. We started our day with puja and Lord was offered prayers and invocations, followed by Aartis including the distribution of Prasad among the devotees.

Ganpati Visarjan

Our creativity was at its best as we started our festive preparations a day before getting the idol. Whole stage was beautifully aligned with bright lamps and lights alongside magnificent flowers. The flowers' aroma and the fragrance of the incense sticks filled the environment with peace and positivity.
Our memories of Ganesh Chaturthi was lit by this celebration as a EMPL Family and we could successfully immerse Lord Ganesha at our office only by singing devoted songs and slogans such as “Ganpati Bappa moray pudchya varshi lawkar ya”! This event has become successful due to the great efforts of Unni Narayanan, the Business head of our EMPL organization and because of our fellow colleagues who contributed to the festivity momentum.
